N.Y. Correction Law Section 119
Daily report concerning incarcerated individuals


The superintendent of each correctional facility shall make a daily report to the commissioner of correction, stating the names of all incarcerated individuals received into the facility during the preceding day, the counties in which they were tried, the crimes of which they were convicted, the nature and duration of their sentences, their former trade, employment or occupation, their habits, color, age, place of nativity, degree of instruction, and a description of their persons, and also stating whether any such incarcerated individuals have ever been confined in any state or county correctional institution, and if so, stating the offense for which they were confined, and the duration of their punishment, and also stating in such report the names of all the incarcerated individuals transferred or released to the community or delivered to other governmental authority on the preceding day, and all other particulars in relation to such persons that are required to be stated in relation to the incarcerated individuals received in the facility.
