Tex. Gov't Code Section 171.0301
General Requirements for Court-ordered Programs


(a)

The department or the department’s authorized representative shall develop the curriculum and educational materials to be used for each court-ordered program.

(b)

A court-ordered program must be:

(1)

provided by a program provider licensed for the type of program;

(2)

taught by an instructor with the appropriate endorsement for the program using curriculum approved by the department; and

(3)

delivered in the program format or at the location approved by the department.

(c)

A program provider may only employ or contract with an instructor who holds a license with an endorsement for the program being provided.
