Tex. Occ. Code Section 203.255
Examination

(a)

The department shall:

(1)

adopt a comprehensive midwifery examination for persons regulated under this chapter that must be passed before the initial license may be issued; and

(2)

establish eligibility requirements for persons taking a comprehensive midwifery examination.
