CA Gov't Code Section 12925

As used in this part, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context:

(a)

“Council” means the Fair Employment and Housing Council and “council member” means a member of the council.

(b)

“Department” means the Department of Fair Employment and Housing.

(c)

“Director” means the Director of Fair Employment and Housing.

(d)

“Person” includes one or more individuals, partnerships, associations, corporations, limited liability companies, legal representatives, trustees, trustees in bankruptcy, and receivers or other fiduciaries.
