Any information reported to the North American Securities Administrators Association/Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and compiled as disciplinary records which are made available to the Department of Business Oversight through a computer system, shall constitute a public record. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department of Business Oversight may disclose that information and the current license status and the year of issuance of the license of a broker-dealer upon written or oral request pursuant to Section
25247 of the Corporations Code.
