Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 326.030
Initial Trustees


(a)

The commissioners court shall declare the five persons receiving the highest number of votes for trustee to be elected as trustees.

(b)

The two trustees elected who received the fewest number of votes shall serve until the next board of trustees election following the confirmation election, and the three trustees who received the highest number of votes shall serve until the second succeeding trustee election after the confirmation election.
