Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 601.025
Compensation and Liability


(a)

A board member may not receive compensation for services as a member but is entitled to payment for the necessary expenses incurred in the discharge of duties as a member.

(b)

A board member is not liable personally on the bonds of an authority, and the rights of creditors are solely against the authority.
