Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 62.089
Limitations


(a)

Limitations do not begin to run, do not expire, and may not be pled to bar a claim against an abolished municipality until six months after the date a receiver is appointed for the municipality.

(b)

A claimant may not bring a suit against the receiver of an abolished municipality on a claim that is partially or completely disallowed under Section 62.084 (Complete or Partial Disallowance of Claim) or against which a taxpayer files a protest under Section 62.085 (Taxpayer Protest) after six months after the date the claim is disallowed or the protest is filed.
