Tex. Occ. Code Section 2033.004
Racing Without License


(a)

A person commits an offense if the person:

(1)

conducts a horse or greyhound race without a racetrack license; and

(2)

knows or reasonably should know that another person is betting on the final or partial outcome of the race.

(b)

An offense under this section is a felony of the third degree.
