Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 466.024
Permit Limitations


(a)

The department may issue a permit to:

(1)

a person constituting a legal entity organized and operating under the laws of this state; or

(2)

a physician.

(b)

The department may issue a permit to a person other than a physician only if the person provides health care services under the supervision of one or more physicians licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
