Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 531.0021
Reference to State School or Superintendent

(a)

A reference in law to a “state school” means a state supported living center.

(b)

A reference in law to a “superintendent,” to the extent the term is intended to refer to the person in charge of a state supported living center, means the director of a state supported living center.
