Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 62.0531
Authority of Commission Relating to Third Party Administrator

If the commission contracts with a third party administrator under Section 62.055 (Contracts for Implementation of Child Health Plan), the commission may:

(1)

implement the contract;

(2)

monitor the third party administrator, through reporting requirements and other means, to ensure performance under the contract and quality delivery of services; and

(3)

provide payment under the contract to the third party administrator.
