Tex. Ins. Code Section 961.002
Applicability of Other Laws

(a)

The Texas Nonprofit Corporation Law as described by Section 1.008 (Short Titles), Business Organizations Code, applies to a nonprofit legal services corporation to the extent provided by this chapter.
