Tex. Occ. Code Section 1804.204
Civil Penalties


(a)

A person who violates this chapter is liable to the state for a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 for each violation.

(b)

A person who violates an injunction issued under this chapter is liable to the state for a civil penalty of not less than $100,000.

(c)

The attorney general shall bring an action to recover a civil penalty.

(d)

If the violator has filed a bond under this chapter, the suit may be brought against the bond.
