Tex. Occ. Code Section 1955.105
Criminal Penalty


(a)

A person commits an offense if:

(1)

the person knowingly violates this chapter or a rule adopted or certification issued under this chapter; and

(2)

the violation endangers the public health and safety.

(b)

An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by:

(1)

a fine not to exceed $10,000;

(2)

confinement for a term not to exceed six months; or

(3)

both the fine and the confinement.
