Tex. Spec. Dist. Local Laws Code Section 3808.154
Authority to Impose Ad Valorem Taxes, Assessments, or Impact Fees

The district may impose an ad valorem tax, assessment, or impact fee as provided by Chapter 375 (Municipal Management Districts in General), Local Government Code, to provide an improvement or service for a project or activity the district may acquire, construct, improve, or provide under this chapter.
