Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 262.024
Management Agreement


(a)

The board may enter into an agreement with any person for the management or operation of a hospital, or part of a hospital, owned by the authority under terms that are satisfactory to the board and the contracting party.

(b)

The agreement must:

(1)

be authorized by resolution of the board;

(2)

be executed on behalf of the authority by the president and secretary of the board; and

(3)

have the seal of the authority impressed on the agreement.

(c)

The board may delegate to the manager the authority to manage the hospital and to employ and discharge employees.
