Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 282.044
Contracting Authority

(a)

In performing its powers under this subchapter the board may contract with:

(1)

the federal government;

(2)

this state;

(3)

a municipality; and

(4)

another hospital district.

(b)

The district may incur indebtedness or borrow money for district purposes on the credit of the district or secured by the revenues of a district hospital.

(c)

The district may contract with another community, corporation, or individual for services provided by the district.
