Food Inspections by Type a General-law Municipality


(a)

The governing body of a Type A general-law municipality may regulate the inspection of beef, pork, flour, meal, salt, and other provisions.

(b)

The governing body of a Type A general-law municipality may appoint weighers, gaugers, and inspectors, and may prescribe their duties and regulate their fees.
