License Term and Renewal
(a)
A license issued under this chapter is valid for two years. A license holder must renew the license biennially.(b)

On receipt of a request for a renewal of a license issued under this chapter, the department shall conduct a criminal background check under Section 455.1525 (Criminal History Record Information Requirement for License Issuance).
