Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 432.008
License Renewal

(a)

A license holder under this chapter may renew the license by filing with the department, before the expiration date of the current license, a renewal application on a form prescribed by the department, accompanied by a nonrefundable renewal fee.

(b)

After an inspection to determine the license holder’s compliance with department rules, the department shall renew the license of a license holder who submits a renewal application and pays the renewal fee.
