Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 432.013
Denial, Suspension, or Revocation of License


(a)

The department may deny, suspend, or revoke the license of an applicant or license holder who fails to comply with this chapter or the rules adopted under this chapter.

(b)

When there is an imminent threat to the health or safety of the public, the department may suspend a license without notice in accordance with rules adopted by the executive commissioner for the emergency suspension of licenses.

(c)

The department’s hearing rules and the applicable provisions of Chapter 2001 (Administrative Procedure), Government Code, govern a hearing for the denial, suspension, emergency suspension, or revocation of a license and any appeal from that hearing.
