Water Code Section 37.002
Rules
(1)
establish occupational licenses and registrations prescribed by Sections 26.0301 (Wastewater Operations Company Registration and Operator Licensing), 26.3573 (Petroleum Storage Tank Remediation Account), 26.452 (Underground Storage Tank Contractor), and 26.456 (Underground Storage Tank On-site Supervisor Licensing) of this code, Sections 341.033 (Protection of Public Water Supplies), 341.034 (Licensing and Registration of Persons Who Perform Duties Relating to Public Water Supplies), 361.027 (Licensure of Solid Waste Facility Supervisors), and 366.071 (Occupational Licensing and Registration), Health and Safety Code, and Section 1903.251 (License Required), Occupations Code;(2)
establish classes and terms of occupational licenses and registrations; and(3)
administer the provisions of this chapter and other laws governing occupational licenses and registrations under the commission’s jurisdiction.
